IS A SECURITY SERVICE MANDATORY?

- The smooth running of any event is the responsibility of the organizer.  Thus in the event of an incident (theft, assault, fight) or accident , the organizer who has not done everything possible to limit or control these risks is responsible and will have to assume the consequences (costs, compensation, not covered by insurance).

- The concordat on security companies (CES,  General guideline  +  Directive article 5 ) mentions the obligation to have recourse to companies and security agents accredited by the authorities within the framework of demonstrations open to the public as well as in the surveillance and the access control of persons in a place (interior or exterior), the same applies to all public establishments (bars, nightclubs, shops, etc.)

- The law on catering, drinking, accommodation and entertainment  provides that the organization of an event or spectacle is subject to authorization.

- In addition, depending on the type of event and the number of people present, the law requires the presence of first aiders and health professionals. If you have any doubts, we are happy to advise you.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE TO CONTACT US?

​

It is always better to organize and settle the security and administrative aspects (authorizations) as soon as possible. In any case, do not hesitate to contact us several weeks before your event so that we can best respond to your request and guarantee you a quality organization . Note that an event that requires the implementation of a medico-sanitary concept for example (first aid workers), requires notice from the General Directorate of Health, and must be submitted to the cantonal doctor's service at least 30 days before the event.

HOW MUCH DOES A SECURITY SERVICE COST?

​

In Switzerland, the hourly cost for a security service varies between CHF 40.- and 120 .- / h. by security personnel present. The service is therefore billed according to the number of security guards or first aid workers required.  (depending on the degree of risk, the number of participants, surface area, etc.) , their professional qualifications and the duration of your event.
